In 2007, after not finding a book store in Chippewa Falls,  Jo Moriarity opened one called "The Book Celler". Originally located in downtown Chippewa Falls, she moved to its present location on the East Hill at 706 E. Grand Ave. Jo comes from a background in the medical field. She is the mother of 5 with 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Jo's mission is to put affordable books (new or used) in the hands of any child or adult who wants one. She enjoys meeting and working with new people and helping them find just the right book for them to enjoy.

Comments:

As I was reading I realized that I had been to many of the places Chad spoke

of in the book.  I even knew one of the women who ran some of the brothel's

back in the early 50's.

  Very interesting book

This is a very good book to read to a child while curled up with a blanket in a chair or sofa and it is cold outside.

Don't forget the hot coco!!!!!!
